Our Management Team

Mr. Nahmad serves as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Nahmad is a leader and entrepreneur with a long-term vision and a passion for buying and building businesses. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Chemstar Corp., a provider of food safety and sanitation solutions, where he led a growth effort that resulted in recognition as a North American leader in its market segment. Earlier in his career, Mr. Nahmad worked in various capacities at Watsco, Inc. (NYSE: WSO), the largest distributor of HVAC/R products in the world, where he gained intimate knowledge and valuable experience in the execution of the buy-and-build strategy. Mr. Nahmad earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas and an MBA from Babson College. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and is an active member in charitable organizations.

Robert H. Lazar serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Lazar served as Vice President – Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Steiner Leisure Limited, a public company, that was sold to private equity in December 2015 for approximately $1 billion. Steiner Leisure Limited is a global provider and innovator in the fields of beauty, wellness and education. Prior to joining Steiner Leisure Limited, Mr. Lazar was with Arthur Andersen LLP, serving as a Senior Audit Manager from August 1995 to June 2000 and in various other auditor positions from September 1987 until August 1995.

Dennis Mack serves as Executive Vice President and as a Director of EVI Industries. Mr. Mack is also the founder and President of Western State Design; a position he has held since its inception in 1974. Mr. Mack is an industry veteran, who along with his partner and team, built Western State Design into the leading distributor of commercial and coin-operated laundry products on the west coast of the United States. He is widely respected amongst his industry peers as not only an entrepreneur with a keen sense for opportunities in and around the industry, but also an exceptional leader. In consideration of his professional achievements, extensive relationships, and ever-burning entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Mack is an invaluable member of the EVI Industries Management Team.

Tom Marks serves as Executive Vice President of EVI Industries. Mr. Marks also serves as Executive Vice President at Western State Design, a wholly owned subsidiary, where he was a partner for over 15 years. Mr. Marks is widely recognized and responsible for developing and executing the growth strategies, which led to Western’s recognition as one of the foremost commercial and coin-operated laundry distributors in the United States. As a member of EVI Industries’s Management Team, Mr. Marks serves in the same capacities, but with an expanded and integral role in the execution of the Company’s long-term buy and build growth strategy.
